Carrie Schmidt

PharmD

Hello, my name is Carrie Schmidt. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota. I attended University of St. Thomas in St. Paul for my undergraduate studies. I then attended the University of Minnesota -College of Pharmacy and earned my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in the year 2000. I have worked in retail pharmacy since then, taking a short break to raise and homeschool my children. I met my husband in High School and have two grown children. I currently work at  work at the Baldwin and Glenwood locations. I enjoy the small town, personal service that Village Pharmacy demonstrates. It is a great family friendly business that I am very lucky to be a part of.

RPh

My name is Roni Devlin. I began working in a small hometown pharmacy when I was in high school, as a clerk. It was that pharmacist who encouraged me to pursue a career in pharmacy. I graduated pharmacy school at UW Madison in 1992. I have worked in retail pharmacy since then. I live in Woodville with my husband, Jim, and have two grown children. I’m honored to be managing at the Ellsworth location, and look forward to serving you and your family. I like to help people on their journey to better health and encourage you to ask questions and seek recommendations from us. Pharmacists offer a lot of knowledge and skills and can contribute to your health care team in a very positive way.

PharmD

My name is Kristen Huber. I grew up on a farm in Kirkland, IL. I got my Bachelors in Chemistry from Carthage College in 2011, then I graduated with my PharmD from Concordia University Wisconsin Pharmacy School in 2015. After pharmacy school I completed a PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency in Madison at the SSM Health Clinic.

I started my pharmacy career at Marshland Pharmacy in Horicon for four years. I loved working at a rural independent pharmacy. I also worked for Pick’N Save and CVS. And I’m so excited to be working for the Village Pharmacy now! I live in Ellsworth with my husband, Hank, and daughter, Hannah. I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Brady. I also love to bake treats!

Lisa Knutson

I was born and raised on a farm east of River Falls, graduated from RFHS and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in Business with an Emphasis in Accounting. I was able to go back to school in 2005 and get my MBA in 2007 from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. My entire career has centered around pharmacy.

I started out working in South Minneapolis as an Assistant Manager for Butler Drug on Lake and Bloomington and Snyder Drug in The Uptown. From there I worked with Erickson’s Diversified’ s group of grocery stores and pharmacies throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin in their corporate office in Hudson.

After meeting my husband, Kevin, and starting a family, I began working in Baldwin with Dane in 1997. My role at the Village Pharmacy has remained largely the same throughout my many years, however, my title has changed slightly. What started as a bookkeeper position through business growth has become an Operations Manager one. I love my job here and the community that I lived in for 23 years! Our kids are now grown (we are even grandparents now!) and Kevin and I have moved to the Glenwood area, but Baldwin and the Village Pharmacy are still home.

Most of my time at home is taken by gardening, crocheting or running after our three dogs. You can find me on weekdays at the Village Pharmacy Baldwin in the office. I can answer most of your questions about Medicare, Durable Medical Equipment billing, or PBMs. I have served on the Village Board of Trustees, the St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation Board, the Peace Lutheran Church Board of Trustees and am currently on the Baldwin-Woodville Community Education Advisory Board

Laura

Laura is the Front-End Manager at Village Pharmacy in Baldwin. She was born at Baldwin Hospital and grew up in River Falls, then later in Washington State. She spent summers visiting her grandparents, who are lifelong Baldwin area residents. After experiencing life on the West Coast, Laura moved back to the area with her two children, craving the small-town feel she remembered from her childhood.

She enjoys helping people and oversees the medical equipment and retail areas to ensure they have everything needed to provide the best care. With a background in customer service and retail, Laura works hard to ensure that every customer at the pharmacy is served with care and compassion. When she isn’t working, Laura enjoys baking, crafting, reading, and spending time with her teenagers when they're around.
