Effective January 1, 2024, Medicare Part B began covering compression products for people with a diagnosis of lymphedema without having to have an open wound associated with it.  This is huge news for the Part B community.  For the first time, people who really need compression stockings can get them covered by Medicare Part B!

The most important thing to know about compression stockings is you need to be measured in the morning when swelling is at a minimum.  Please contact the store for details about what measurements are needed or if you need help with measurements.  We can help with that!

Village Pharmacy stocks three brands of compression stockings.  We stock a fashion line of stockings called Vim&Vigr.  They have a variety of styles to choose from for those who like to have style with their compression.
 
Our budget line of stockings is called TruForm. These are a lower priced option for those who may be new to compression stockings and don’t know if they will work for them yet and don’t want to spend a lot of money.  These are a good stocking, and we have or can order a variety of colors and styles.
 
Our main line of stockings is from the Sigvaris brand, called Dynaven.  These are a top brand in the country.  We have lots of options with Sigvaris, with different compressions, styles, colors, etc.  We also can order compression wraps, lymphedema sleeves, and other compression garments.  Please contact the store for details on those products.
